When we go into a school that is struggling with gang violence, or a country in the midst of civil war, we begin by getting youth to focus on a conflict in a location far-removed from the classroom, or the streets. Then, they are better able to step back and apply what they've learned to the conflict in their own lives.                      "

SUPPORT US
Among non-profits seeking to improve global conditions, Axis of Hope is unique in that it offers visible and tangible conflict prevention results after just one brief workshop.Teachers have reported that they can see and feel a change in their students right away. Their eyes and hearts are opened to the importance of preventive diplomacy and global citizenship as they begin to understand how compassion and communication can prevent future tragedies in our increasingly interdependent, flat world.

While the more immediate need is often to resolve or prevent bullying, gang violence, juvenile drug abuse and other localized societal ills, the greater conflict resolution and prevention impact that Axis of Hope offers is almost limitless. As students around the world learn how to manage conflict and implement the peace process into their daily lives, they could, one day beginning today, help us put an end to border skirmishes, assassinations, acts of terrorism, coups d’état or all-out warfare.

WE WELCOME YOUR SUPPORT
Axis of Hope is incorporated as a Massachusetts not-for-profit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We seek partnerships with potential donors to more effectively increase the scope of our organization, in order to provide United States and international pre-K–12th grade schools with our "Intellectual Outward Bound” approach to education.

WHERE DO YOUR DONATIONS GO?
Your contributions go straight to implementing our curriculum into the most needy areas at home and around the globe, from schools suffering from gang violence to those countries threatened with tribal tensions.
