Axis of Hope Fellows

We are currently not accepting applications for Fellows positions. We anticipate opening the search again in the Spring of 2012.

-Axis of Hope Fellows are field practitioners who are trained and supported by Axis of Hope central staff. The selection process is selective and arduous, but well worth the effort.

-Axis Fellows are the front line in this effort to build peace in the world through our students. Following are some of the requirements of Axis of Hope Fellows:

  • Application Process

    • Complete and submit on-line application form
    • Submit resume/vita and cover letter
    • Write and submit an 800-1000 word essay answering one of the following questions:
      • How will today's students impact the world in years to come?
      • What was your most significant educational experience?
      • What role does Social Networking play in the development of the world over the next 5 years?
    • Submit a 4-6 minute video of yourself conducting a training session.
  • Selection Process

    • Participate in an initial screening interview either in person or via video conference.
    • Attend training/selection on the Boston University campus as scheduled
  • Ongoing

    • Actively participate in the marketing of Axis of Hope programs and offerings
    • Attend, either in person or electronically, quarterly in-service sessions to remain current in content, process and administrative requirements
