Axis of Hope Internship

Axis of Hope provides a limited number of Internship opportunities both during the academic year and through the summer months.  This year we will select 3-5 interns based on their skills, abilities and interests, who will each be assigned work in one of the following primary areas:

• Service Learning Activities - This assignment will work to create and manage 2-3 Service Learning activities with past Axis of Hope seminar participants within the Boston area.

• Social Network Management - This in-office assignment will focus on the creation and maintenance of a positive presence for Axis of Hope on various social network media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, TakingItGlobal and others.

• Case Study Development - This college level internship will focus on the research and writing of two case studies on current geo-political conflicts in the world.  These case studies will be used in future Axis of Hope seminars.

• Data Base Creation and Management - This in-office internship will focus on the enhancement of the current Axis of Hope contact data base, including media, members and friends of the organization.

• Teaching Fellows training documentation - This college level internship will work to document a "Train the Trainer" manual for the Axis of Hope Teaching Fellows program.

• Video Testimonials - If you know how to shoot and edit videos this internship is for you.  The work will be to meet with past seminar participants and obtain their testimonials on video, then edit that raw footage into a series of participant testimonial videos for use on the website and in other promotional efforts.

• Evaluation Process Implementation - This college level internship will focus on formalizing the Axis of Hope participant evaluation process.

• Grant Writing - If you want to learn about the grant writing process, then this in-office internship is for you.  You will discover, analyse, prepare and submit funding grant requests for Axis of Hope.
